What is it?
A group dedicated to the richness of the Catholic intellectual tradition. We cover writings from some of the most prominent Catholic thinkers in history such as St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine of Hippo, St. Pope John Paul II, Diedrich Von Hildebrand, to more contemporary thinkers such as Scott Hahn. Areas covered can range from, topics in systematic theology to Christian philosophy.
Why the Name?
St. Thomas Aquinas is our patron and is widely considered one of the greatest thinkers within the Church. Though we will be interacting with the angelic doctor’s work we will also explore other thinkers who have been inspired or impacted by his influence.
The Goal?
To shape and form the mind of the faithful and those in search of faith. To combat errors in modern ways of thinking by shedding light on the wisdom of the Church. To provide answers to life’s biggest questions. To conform hearts to the will of Christ by providing reasons for what we believe.

Our Patron: St. Thomas Aquinas
St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) A Dominican friar was an Italian theologian and philosopher. He is credited for harmonizing theology and philosophy by systematizing theology and revitalizing the works of Greek philosophers such as Aristotle in the process. Considered to be one of the greatest influences in Western philosophy and the Catholic Church. St. Thomas Aquinas also earned the distinction of “Doctor of the Church” a title given to very few throughout history. Those who hold the distinction have been very influential in the development of Catholic doctrine and are accredited to writings that are regarded to be timeless and true.
